On the occasion of ashwiyuja shudda pournami goddess padmakshi was decorated with turmeric. A whole of 120 kg turmeric was used for anointing and decoration. Goddess was totally covered with turmeric such that only the face of goddess is seen. Such programmes are conducted every year with the help some people(devotees).
